A Michelin star comes after refurbishment in Hotel Cram

Angle Restaurant in Cram hotel was just honored with its second Michelin Star after our latest refurbishment in the site. With a Nordic inspiration, wood appears as a predominant material granting a welcoming feeling right from the entrance. Art becomes an essential part of the project, having light sculptures that merge into the walls inspiring costumers from all perspectives. Congratulations to the team of Jordi Cruz for such an achievement.

Collaborating in the training and the future of design

From GCA Architects, we like to collaborate and learn at the same time with educational institutions that train young and future architects and design experts in any of its facets. There´s no place like the office.

The New York Times Style Magazine has published in its section "Magazine of the Week" the interior of the new office of lawyers of Cuatrecasas. The building designed by GCA Architects and located in 22 @ of Barcelona, ​​is divided into two towers of 11 and 18 floors respectively, joined by a central atrium that enhances the distinctive volume game. The project covers 28,000 square meters of built area, with spacious common areas such as the auditorium with capacity for 220 people, a large dining room, a gym area and an outdoor terrace with breathtaking views of the city.

GCA WIN THE CATALONIA CONSTRUCTION AWARD 2017

GCA has been rewarded by the Prize Catalonia Construction by the excellent direction and execution of work that was carried out in Cuatrecasas's office project placed in 22 of Barcelona. Jesus Hernando and Daniel Fernandez represented to the " Night of the Construction ", organized by the Riggers' college of Barcelona (CAATEEB), which was celebrated in the Nautic Center of Barcelona, where they gathered the prize opposite to more than 500 persons, professionals and businessmen of the sector of the construction. The juror emphasized the qualit level obtained in the building together with the capacity of adjustment to the conditions and particularities of the client. Also the quality stood out in the precision and the execution of the work that was carried out in the short space of 17 months.

The winners of the V Prize Eurostars Madrid Tower of photography received a well-deserved tribute yesterday at the Hotel Eurostars Madrid Tower. Together with around 200 guests from the world of culture, they collected their prizes in a gala presided by the President of the Congress of Deputies, Ana Pastor, the president of Hotusa Group, Amancio López Seijas and Josep Juanpere founding partner of GCA ARchitects, as one of the members of the jury and responsible of the interior design at the Eurostars Madrid Tower 5*

GCA at The Plan Awards 2017

GCA has been selected by the prestigious Architecture and Design magazine, The Plan, as one of the finalists for its annual prizes "The Plan Awards 2017" thanks to the work realized in the new Cuatrecasas offices project, placed in 22@ of Barcelona. Within the Office & Business category, values such details as 72 meters of height of the building, the resolution of the different created volumes and the certification LEED GOLD, wich constitutes an energetic saving of 30% in consumption , in comparison with the expense of the conventional Skycrapers.
